Working During Eid Holidays

Being stuck working while everyone else is celebrating isn’t ideal, so for those of you who are still working this holiday, here are a few tips to help soften the blow:
- Negotiate! If work is unavoidable, ask your boss if you can work from home, or split to a halftime schedule.
- Reschedule your holiday if you can’t reschedule work. Ask your family and loved ones if they would like to continue celebrations on your days off instead.
- Avoid social media. Scrolling through instagram looking at others celebrating with their families will only bring you down, go for a walk during your break instead.
- Make it count by focusing on work; the feeling of accomplishment will lift your spirits and you’ll feel much better about working when you see that you’re getting things done
